The Missouri Plein Air Painters’ Association was established in 1999 by a group of local artists, with the express purpose of furthering the practice and appreciation of plein air painting in Missouri and surrounding regions.

Since there's no membership, dues or meetings it's extremely easy to join us on any Sunday, just show up - everyone is welcome!

Happy September! This Sunday we'll be at Cliff Cave Park around their lower large pavilion (Riverside Shelter). Maybe we'll still have some sunflowers to paint (Marian's Place). Artists will start arriving around 9:00 and paint until whenever. It'll be a cooler day, only in the upper 80s.
