The Missouri Plein Air Painters’ Association was established in 1999 by a group of local artists, with the express purpose of furthering the practice and appreciation of plein air painting in Missouri and surrounding regions.

Since there's no membership, dues or meetings it's extremely easy to join us on any Sunday, just show up - everyone is welcome!

Due to the weather they have CANCELLED this event. The Ground would be too soft for anyone parking on the grass. We've been invited to participate in Marian's Place, Sunflower Celebration at Cliff Cave Park. It's from 9 - 12 and includes lots of family-friendly fun activities. We'll once again be in Forest Park around the 3 arched bridge (Columbus Bridge) at the corner of Faulkner and Grand Dr. Artists will start arriving around 9:00 and paint until whenever.
