The Missouri Plein Air Painters’ Association was established in 1999 by a group of local artists, with the express purpose of furthering the practice and appreciation of plein air painting in Missouri and surrounding regions.

Since there's no membership, dues or meetings it's extremely easy to join us on any Sunday, just show up - everyone is welcome!

We'll be in Forest Park this Sunday around the Steinberg Skating Rink and Klein Prairie. The best place to park is around the corner of Falkner Drive (Jefferson) and Wells Drive. Weather wise, it looks like it's going to be rain in the early morning and then nice with temps in the low 60s. Painters will start arriving around 9:00 and paint until whenever.
